Since our founding back in 1898, it has been our privilege to serve our neighbors and help guide them through difficult times. Below is a sampling of the many hundreds of notes of appreciation received from the families we have had the pleasure to serve throughout the years.

I called upon you and your staff in a time of sorrow and need and you rose to the occasion with compassion, dignity and respect. Mr. Skidd with your resourcefulness and knowledge the wake and funeral for Officer Matthew Morelli was done with true Honor and Dignity. The Morelli family was overcome with your professionalism during a very trying time for them.

I would also like to say "Thank You" for all your help to me. With your knowledge and help with the wake and funeral services I have received many complements. People cannot believe that the funeral was not rehearsed. You made my job and responsibility to the Morelli Family, our community, my members and our guests very rewarding to me.

I would also like to thank you for your generosity to the Morelli Family.

Sincerely,
William Curwin
Norwalk Police Union President

Dear Mr. Skidd,
On behalf of the Deilus Family, I would like to thank Bill Lahey for his assistance in the funeral arrangements for my mother Antoinette Deilus. His demeanor was respectful, kind, compassionate and professional. He has known my family for many years through a lot of good times and it was so fitting that he walk us through this part of our lives also.

Human nature tends to voice their opinion when they have something to complain about, but few take the time to mention a job that's well done. In this case, we would like to tell you that Bill went above and beyond the call of duty in so many of the little details which gave great comfort to me and my family. You should be proud to have him working with you.

Sincerely,
Ann Okrentowich
for the Deilus Family (Matthew, Robert, Sue and Paul)
