Antoinette BartoloFebruary 6, 1937 - July 4, 2011Antoinette Bartolo, 74, wife of Anthony Bartolo, passed away Monday, July 4, 2011 at the St. Vincent Medical Center in Bridgeport. Born February 6, 1937 in Stamford, CT, she was daughter of the late Anthony and Filomena Volenti Romano. Mrs. Bartolo married Anthony, her husband of almost 55 years, and moved to Norwalk where they resided for over 50 years before recently moving to Trumbull. She worked as a Customer Service Manager for Caspari and was well liked by both her fellow employees and customers. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was also active in the community and was instrumental in bringing girls’ softball to Norwalk. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Bartolo is survived by: her daughter Karen Coe Bartolo of Norwalk and three sons Kevin Bartolo and his wife Marlene of Norwalk, Edward Bartolo and his wife Linda of Trumbull, and Anthony (Bart) Bartolo and wife Kimberly of Monroe. She is also survived by her sister Barbara Romano of Stamford, and brother James Romano of New Hampshire; by 10 grandchildren Jackie, Jenna, Jake, Luke, Danikka, Dylan, Zachary, and Mitchell Bartolo and Katie and Eddie Coe; and by many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Bartolo was predeceased by six brothers and a sister. My thoughts are with all of you. I remember Antoinette as a loving woman who always made me laugh. I loved tagging along when my grandmother wanted to pay her a visit when I was a child. She was very special. I know she will be missed greatly.
