Joseph I. KesselmanJuly 12, 2011Joseph I. Kesselman, 86, beloved husband of Estelle Kesselman of Westport, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2011 with his family at his side. Mr. Kesselman, son of Leo and Jane Kesselman, was born in Brooklyn, New York. A graduate of The Townsend-Harris School of New York City, and Columbia College, he received a law degree from The Columbia School of Law. Mr. Kesselman served as a navigator in the US Air Force during WWII, in the Pacific Theatre. He was a member of the New York State and Federal Bar Associations and a prominent corporate executive with Pan Am, Kinney (now known as Time-Warner), Federal Pacific Electric, and Kentucky Fried Chicken. Mr. Kesselman additionally served as a Director on the Board of several Fortune 500 companies, and held a European Board position with Perrot Duval Holding Corporation. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Estelle, and his three daughters: Jane Biagini and her husband Larry, of Redding, CT; Dr. Amy Kesselman Fingerhut and her husband Herbert, of McLean, VA; and Nancy Roodberg and her husband David, of Vienna, VA. In addition, Mr Kesselman is survived by seven grandchildren: Jonathan, Jennifer, Kaitlin, Alexandra, Zachary, Benjamin, and Madeleine, and two great-grandchildren: Ashlee and Lainey. We were very sorry to hear of Joseph’s death. I remember that he had connections in Switzerland, and I very much enjoyed talking with him. Our best wishes to you, Estelle. Kurt Rosenfeld
