Services: Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday at the Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue, Norwalk. Burial: Burial will follow in Beth El Memorial Park, 222 Richards Avenue, Norwalk. Rachel Fox of Sarasota, FL died on Sunday at age 97.  She was predeceased by her husband Samuel Fox and was a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Mrs. Fox was born in Rogachev, Belarus and was a CPA.  She and her husband miraculously escaped the communism of the Soviet Union and immigrated to the United States in 1961 to start a new life for their two daughters.  She loved discussing politics and enjoyed cooking for her family.

She will be remembered with love by her daughters Inna and her husband Gerald Sideman of Sarasota, Florida, and Fira and her husband Robert Wagman of Norwalk, CT; by her grandchildren, Matthew Wagman and his wife Meera, Jennifer Wagman, Michele Hammer and her husband Scott, Lori Goldberg and her husband Stanley and by her four great grandchildren.
