Anna Curci Capozza, 88, died on September 29th, 2011 after a long courageous battle with cancer. Born in Bridgeport, CT she was one of eight children born to Samuel and Antoinetta Curci. Samuel was the owner of Palermo Importing in South Norwalk, a popular Italian grocery store that closed in 1956. Anna was the wife of the late Patrick Capozza. She is survived by brothers Samuel Curci of Westport, CT and Frank Curci of Norwalk, CT and by 10 nieces and nephews.
Friends may gather for a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, October 3rd, at 9:30 AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 203 East Avenue, Norwalk, CT. Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery, 223 Richards Avenue, Norwalk, CT. Arrangements are in the care of Collins Funeral Home.
