February 24, 1975 - September 25, 2011
Sean Michael Russell, 36, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2011 at his home in East Norwalk, CT. Born in Norwalk February 24, 1975, he was a life-long Norwalk resident and was the son of Michael and Beverly Duffy Russell.
Sean graduated Brien McMahon High School in the class of 1994. He will be remembered as a kind and gentle person and a lover of animals. He was also very artistic with a special devotion to the guitar.
In addition to his parents, Sean is survived by his brother Chris Russell and his wife Doreen and their daughter Carly Russell. He is also survived by his uncle David Duffy and his wife Phyllis, by his aunt Susan Duffy-Broeker and by his nieces Elyse and Tara Duffy.

Sean, remember that time we stayed up all night watching movies and ended up cutting our fingers and becoming blood brothers? Or the time we got stuck on the train tracks behind your house? Or the time our skateboards ended up in the harbor and we had to dive in after them? I never got to say good-bye, but you never left me. It’s been too long since I last saw you but you were always in my thoughts. Very few childhood memories exist that don’t have you in it. You were my brother. I know you are at peace now playing guitar and skating. I am so sorry for your loss mom.

Beverly, Mike & Chris,I was heart broken to hear of Sean’s passing. He had a sweet gentle spirit about him and I will miss that even though I hadn’t seen him in long time. i cannot express enough my condolences. i hadnt talked to sean in like 15 years, but he ran into a mutual friend last month or a month and a hald ago. we were friends and i always respected him. I feel horrible because he wanted to get together but i made excuses and was busy i just had a baby, but i meant to make it happen. i didnt think he sounded sad or upset pr anything, GOD i wish i had known. i will be contacting as many people as possible we grew up with amd we are going to do a memoroal painting for his honor, his struggle, wnd his unshakeable kindness. ill post more as i get it together, im so sorry, words dont express. if anyone wants to call ,my number is 203-202-4178, Jason Crowell.
