Hello Susan: It was with a double sadness that I read your Dad’s obituary last week, because I had not known that your mother had predeceased him. That was a surprise to me. My relationship with your father, in particular, goes back many years to the early 1940′s when we were both members of the Paterson DeMolay. Years passed, but the friendship survived through other mutual friends and then finally, as you know, through our professional relationship. My memory of your Dad will always be of his gentleness and kindness to others. His final years were so difficult and so very unlike the younger man.

We read with sadness the passing of Les Green. We were neighbors of the Greens for about 30 years before they
moved to Florida. We remember Les as a gentle and caring man and one who was always very friendly. We
regret we never got to visit with him over the past several years, not knowing where he resided. May he rest
in peace with those he loved.
