July 23, 1921 ~ January 14, 2012

Mildred R. Trowbridge, wife of the late Allan W. Trowbridge of Norwalk, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2012 at the Norwalk Hospital.

Born July 23, 1921 in Rowayton, CT she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Mildred Rowland.

Mildred was a lifelong resident of Norwalk; she was a teacher at the Marvin Elementary School for close to thirty years and was an active member of the East Avenue United Methodist Church.

She is survived by sons Allan and his wife Arlene, Scott and his wife Diane, and Wayne and his wife Valerie, all of Norwalk; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Mildred is also survived by her longtime companion Wally.

In addition to flowers memorial donations may be made to the East Avenue United Methodist Church.

    We were so sorry to here of Mil’s passing. We hope you find peace in God’s Promise of eternal life. There are so many wonderful memories of Mildred thoughout my life. But I can tell you this, The Chouinard’s picnics were not complete without Mil’s macaroni and cheese. May all our memories hold Mildred dear to us. Peace, Betty & Lou
