  • David, to you and yours –
to Mary’s sisters, brothers-in-law, Nick, and cousins,

It is with the deepest sympathy I write this note. Mary will be terribly missed by many – especially me. As my dearest friend, I always found strength in her unwavering loyalty; she was a very special, compassionate person.

Our thoughts and prayers are sent to all during this very difficult time. If troubled, ask yourself, “What would Mary say/do?” – the answer will be the right choice. We are all better people for having shared in her life.

May she find a special place, now, free from pain and suffering. May the many memories bring comfort.

    Much love,

    May 10, 2016

  • Mary was my precious friend since we taught together at Katharine Gibbs. Always there with a word of comfort, cookies, and gifts in acknowledgement of major events in my children’s lives. Always a lady. May she rest in peace after her terrible struggle. And God bless David for never leaving her side.

  • David,

We are deeply saddened to hear of Mary’s passing. Although we have only been here for a year, we can tell that the two of you are beloved by all the neighbors, including ourselves. We always enjoyed running into Mary and chatting and will treasure the time that she got to meet baby Julia. Even Julia could sense Mary’s sweet soul – she lit up and giggled and didn’t want to let go! Mary will be missed. We are here for you and Trace.

    With love, your neighbors,

  • Dear David,
I am very sorry for your loss. She loved you very much and your devotion to her was inspirational. I considered her a friend and I’m just glad I could accompany her on a small stretch of her journey. She always had a smile for visitors. What a fine person of faith, and now she is with the angels.
    God bless,
