August 7, 1927 - March 8,2017

Frank D. Leone, 89 of Norwalk CT, passed await peacefully on March 8,2017. Born on August 7, 1927 to Steve and Florence Leone, he was pre-deceased by his sister Antionette.

Frank graduated from Norwalk High and J.M. Technical School. He served in the U.S. Army as part of the 68th Constabulary Squadron in Budingen Germany during the Occupation. He worked at Pitney Bowes as a manufacturing Engineer and was actively involved with St. Marys Church , the Knights of Columbus, St Ann’s, SME and the VFW.

He is survived by his wife Gloria, his sons Frank, Mark and his wife Janet, son Thaddeus, daughter Mary-Ellen and her husband Anthony Andreana.

  • Great topic, indeed. I’ve always respected Warren Buffet for this. He even went as far as loaning his son money for a farm instead of outright giving it to him considering that he had already cashed in his Berkshire shares despite Wa&7rne#821r;s advice. I wonder if there is room for strategic partnerships here. For example, if wealth managers partnered with another firm that provided philanthropic advice, they could stretch their investment and tax advice without setting up new departments.
