Ana Leonora Yandrup Hernandez (Mamá Ana)

Ana Leonora Yandrup Hernandez (Mamá Ana), wife to the late Jorge Rivera Fabris was born on December 29, 1920, in Zambrano, Colombia. She was the daughter of the late Dalila Hernandez and Rodolfo Yandrup, died on Thursday December 26, 2013 in Norwalk Hospital of natural causes.
Ana Yandrup was a 24 year resident of the City of Norwalk, she spent the first 68 years of her life in Colombia where she worked various jobs in the tobacco industry, but was predominantly a homemaker. She raised four children besides Jorge Rivera Fabris and three grandchildren. Upon her arrival in the United States she also played an integral part in the rearing of her great grandchildren, she was awesome with children and also shared their juvenile spirit. One of her greatest attributes was her easy going personality with a twist of humor; she was a pleasure and it was an honor to have in our lives and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her 4 children Everlides Villarreal, Myriam Garcia, Jorge Rivera, Jr., Rosa Rivera; 5 grandchildren Chief Carlos Villarreal and his wife Adriana of Costa Rica, Sylvia Villarreal, Ana Villarreal, Everlides Villarreal (Predeceased), Laura Corro; 8 great grandchildren Carlos Villarreal, Jr., Cpl Gianni Capozziello, Elvonni Capozziello, Everlides Capozziello, Krisia Gonzalez, Armanni Rivera, Evelyn Villarreal of Miami, and Cristina Joyner all of which are from Norwalk. Many great nieces and nephews abroad.
In addition to her husband Jorge, she was predeceased by her sister Tulia Yandrup, granddaughter Everlides Villarreal and granddaughter in law Eleticia Villarreal Rendon.
