Ana Maria Soto-Dussel, 36, wife of David J. Dussel joined the angels in heaven on April 20, 2013 at the Danbury Hospital.

Born October 20, 1976 to Maria Isabel Soto and Efrain Antonio Soto in Guatemala City, Guatemala.

She attended Jamaica High School in Queens, NY and completed a bachelor’s degree from Baruch College. She worked at J.P. Morgan Chase for 13 years. She volunteered in the recruiting team at J.P. Morgan Chase,

She is survived by her husband David J. Dussel and daughter Daniela Sofia Dussel, her mother Maria Isabel Soto, her father Efrain Antonio Soto, her brother Marco Antonio Soto and sister in law Ingrid J. Soto, her brother Luis Armando Soto and sister in law Andrea Lapinski of Queens, NY, her sister Marta Isabel Soto-Johnson and brother in law Frederick Johnson, and two nephews Daren Frederick Johnson and Amri Antonio Johnson, and many loving cousins, aunts, uncles and grandfather.

Friends may call Thursday, April 25th, from 5:00 to 9:00 PM at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue, Norwalk, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate her life will be offered on Friday, April 26th, at 9:30 AM in Saint Mary Church, 669 West Avenue. Entombment will follow in Saint John Cemetery, 223 Richards Avenue, Norwalk, CT.

  • I am a former colleague of Ana and with deep sorry, would like to convey my condolences to her family. I am so sorry to hear of her untimely passing. I only heard this sad news today. I had the pleasure of having the opportunity to work with Ana. She was a very talented and kind hearted individual. And she will be greatly missed. God Bless.
