Anna M. Soccorso, 95, of New Canaan, died November 18, 2014 at Smith House, Stamford.

Born December 26, 1918, in Bronx, New York, daughter of the late Carmine and Margherita Brocco Cipollone, she came to reside with her daughter, in New Canaan, eighteen years ago. Mrs. Soccorso was a member of St. Aloysius Parish, the Catholic Daughters of America and St. Ann’s Club Auxiliary.

Survivors include her daughter; Margaret Sandstrom and husband John, of New Canaan, a brother; Anthony Latini, of Ridge, NY, five grandchildren; Annemarie [Adam] DeVille, Rosemary [Kevin] Casey, Richard [Carrie] Sandstrom, Catherine [Shawn] Sweeney and Mary-Theresa [Ryan] Mulcahey, thirteen great grandchildren; Ephraim, Aiden, Anastasia and Helena DeVille, Brandon, Caroline-Rae, James, Thomas and Joseph Casey, Richard Sandstrom, Christian, Ryan and Daniel Sweeney.

Mrs. Soccorso is predeceased by eight siblings; Rose Ussia, Josephine Parr, Michael, Ralph and Anthony Cipollone, Anita Clay, Mabel Pawlowski, Albert and Nazarone Latini.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday [Nov. 24] at 10:30 AM in St. Aloysius Church, 21 Cherry Street, New Canaan. Burial will follow in Spring Grove Cemetery, Darien.

Friends may call Sunday [Nov. 23], from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue, Norwalk.
