Barbara A. Brzostek


July 17, 1942 ~ February 18, 2019

On Monday February 18, 2019 Barbara A. Brzostek passed away at Norwalk hospital after having Alzheimer’s. She was the wife of Chester Brzostek.

Barbara was born on Long Island July 17, 1942, the daughter of Alfred Axman and Eleanor Kneiper. She was raised in Stamford Connecticut and graduated from Stamford high School class of 1960. Barbara graduated from Berkeley secretarial School in White plains New York. She worked as an administrative assistant and scheduler in the corporate and medical / dental field. She was an excellent cook, enjoyed bowling and gardening.

Barbara is survived by her husband Chester, son Michael, and two grandchildren, and her sister Linda Fauci.

Calling hours will be held Friday, February 22nd, 2019 from 5 to 7:30 p.m., with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m., at the Collins funeral home 92 East avenue Norwalk Connecticut.

Pajama parties, Friday night “club”. How she loved you from the minute she saw you!! I pray that memories of happy times together bring you comfort. With love.

    when I met Barbara at work , she was the best.welcoming, pleasant ,friendly, efficient, took great pride in her work, she alway dressed impeccably,her handwriting in script was to perfection, greeted you with a loving smile,helpful, and so much more, she was awesome. I learned so much from her and shared years of laughter and great memories. when she talked about her loving family her face would light up.her family was her everything . our work relation ship turned into friendship then Chet and Barbara honored us by becoming our Daughter Allisons Godparents .now becoming a part of our family , Barbara is in our hearts were she will live forever. We love you Barbara ❤️❤️ .We love you Chet and you are apart of our family . you and your family are in our hearts and prayer and may warm and found memories of Barbara bring you comfort .
