Beth was a special person. One of my special memories from my trip was sitting on your deck sipping wine and discussing life with her. All the regular adjectives like courageous, gracious and caring do not really seem to be enough, so I am going to stick with “special”. She is in a better place and no longer suffering. The pain is now ours, she will be missed.

  • Jeff,
I would like to express my deepest condolences on Bethann’s passing. I still remember her long ago as a very young child playing at my home in Carmel NY, years later attending family weddings hearing her father sing Sinatra songs, and later visiting with you and her in Norfolk, VA. I would also like to say how sorry I was to hear about our sweet girl, Bethann. I loved her very much.

  • Jeffrey,

I am so sorry that you need to go through the loss of your wife. Bethann was golden in every which way. She was a summer day in the most classic way. Even though we both were the same age, she always seemed younger than me! She had more energy to bestow up others than I ever had or will have. I live in East Norwalk too, and even when we wouldn’t see each other for a while, I would often drive by your home on the way to the beach, and always glanced over with the knowing that Bethann and you had a home of great serenity and vista to enjoy with your pets. Living in East Norwalk is not the same now that Bethann has transitioned elsewhere.
