Brian J. Lahey


Brian J. Lahey, 57, of Shelton, husband of Sandi Gagstetter Lahey, died April 25th at Bridgeport Hospital.

Born in Norwalk, son of Gilda Malagisi Lahey and the late William G. Lahey, Sr. Brian was a self-employed home builder in the local area for many years. He was an avid fisherman, fishing Long Island Sound and Montauk, he was a member of the South Norwalk Boat Club.

Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are his children, Shawn Lahey and Kelsey Lahey, of Shelton, a brother William G. Lahey, Jr. and his wife Cynde, of Norwalk, a sister Maryann Salvo and her husband Joe, of Trumbull, brothers-in-law Brendan Gagstetter and Frank Gagstetter and his children Devon and Tara, two nieces, Victoria and Erin Rybnick, an aunt, Mary Malagisi, and several cousins.

A memorial wake will be held on Monday, April 30th from 4:00PM to 7:00PM at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue, Norwalk.

Services and burial will be private.

Contributions in his memory may be made to the South Norwalk Boat Club, Educational Foundation Inc., 17 Mack Street, Norwalk, CT 06854.
