March 15, 1929 - May 11, 2013

 Carl (Carlo) J. Massaro, 84, husband of Mary Letizia Massaro and long-time Norwalk resident passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at the Middlesex Hospital. Carl was born in Norwalk March 15, 1929, and was the son of the late Vincenzo and Gabriella Massaro. He graduated Norwalk High School Class of 1947 and then served in the armed forces prior to going into carpentry and construction work.

In addition to his wife Mary now residing in Rocky Hill, Mr. Massaro is survived by his son Joseph Massaro and his wife Marie of Wethersfield, his daughter Lisa Massaro, and two grandchildren Daniel and Jillian Massaro. Carl was a devoted husband, loving father and doting grandfather who will be sorely missed by his friends and family including many nieces and nephews.

He is also survived by two brothers Joseph Massaro and Anthony Massaro and his sister Theresa Massaro, all of Norwalk. He was predeceased by his brother Gaetano “Thomas” Massaro.
