Charalambos Bletsas


March 24, 1933 - January 12, 2015

Charalambos Bletsas, 81, husband of Sophia Giotis Bletsas, passed away January 12, 2012 at his home in Norwalk.

Born March 24, 1933 in Greece, he was son of the late Christos and Eugenia Stoukas Bletsas. Mr. Bletsas served as a mechanic in the Greek Army. He later moved to Germany for eight years before coming to America in 1968. He worked as a Master Welder for Hobbs Equipment Co. until his retirement.

In addition to his wife Sophia, he is survived by his two daughters Eleni Bletsas and Christina Efstathopoulos and her husband Chrysanthos. He is also survived by four grandchildren, four great grandchildren, three brothers and many nieces and nephews.
