Daniel Goodman, of Livingston, New Jersey, died July 20, 2015. He was born in Thompsonville, Connecticut.
A veteran of World War II, he was stationed in Ipswich, England for the duration of the war.
Mr. Goodman earned his B.B.A. from the City College of New York. He received an M.B.A. from the New York University Graduate School of Business Administration, with a major in taxation. A certified public accountant for many years, he maintained an office in Livingston, always with a keen interest in his work.
He was a member of Temple Beth Shalom in Livingston and served as Treasurer in the Livingston Lodge of B’nai Brith from 1977-1979. As a member of the Jewish War Veterans, Livingston Post 740, he took part in fund raising activities of that organization. In addition, his efforts as a volunteer ESL tutor were much appreciated by his students.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth, his two sons, Robert and Dr. Harold, three daughters, Karen Lautman, Susan Teicher, Nancy Goodman and his grandchildren, Sara and Adam Lautman, Zachary and Ari Teicher and Graham Goodman.
Services were held July 23 in Norwalk, Connecticut.
