David L. Fecske, 51, beloved life partner of Dila Skrelja, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2015 at his home in Norwalk, Connecticut.

Born April 1, 1964, in Queens, New York, he was the son of Laszlo Fecske and Pamela Parisi.

David attended Hill Crest High School in Jamaica, Queens, and then Pace University. He worked in the publishing industry, specializing in IT network security. David was very proud of his Hungarian heritage and of his native Queens. He was a music lover and an avid collector of baseball cards, stamps, and coins, just to name a few. David also had a passion for food, and some of our fondest memories of him took place in the kitchen. He enjoyed his life in Fairfield County, Connecticut, where he and Dila moved to be closer to extended family. David will be fondly remembered by his family and friends as a loving and kind person.

David is survived by his life partner, Dila Skrelja of Norwalk, CT; his mother, Pamela Parisi of Yonkers, NY; father Laszlo Fecske of Dublin Georgia, and his brother, Geoffrey and his wife Dorothy of Berwick, ME.

  • May he rest in Peace. I’m so sorry for your loss. I do remember David from years ago, especially his long hair in a ponytail. He had great hair and from this picture above I see he still does. He was soft spoken and a very sweet man. God has gained another beautiful Angel above. My condolences to you and your family.
