Diane F. Green, 82, wife of the late Harold Green of Norwalk, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at the Norwalk Hospital.

Born February 8, 1933 in Norwalk, she was the daughter of the late William and Mildred Gans Farans.

Mrs. Green was a life-long Norwalk resident and graduate of Norwalk High School, Mary Washington University and Boston University. She was a realtor and owner of Diane Green Real Estate. She was also very active socially and served as a volunteer at Norwalk Hospital for almost 70 years starting out as a “Candy Striper”.

She is survived by her three sons Guy Green of Norwalk, Steven Green and his wife Kim of New Fairfield, and Bruce Green and his wife Anne of Norwalk; and by four grandchildren, Larissa, Trevor, Brian and Sheila Green. She is also survived by her brothers Alvin Farans and Niel Farans and his wife Laura, all of Westport, and by her brother-in-law Leonard Green of New Canaan. She was predeceased by her brother Paul.

Services will be held graveside on Friday at 1:30 PM in Temple Shalom/Independent Hebrew Society Cemetery, 143 Richards Avenue, Norwalk.
