Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday January 17th, 2015 at 10:30 AM at St Mary’s Church 669 West Ave, Norwalk, CT. Burial: Interment will follow the Services in Riverside Cemetery, Riverside Avenue, Norwalk.

Dieudonne Yvonne Desprinvil 90 years old of Norwalk CT, known to family and friends as (Memere); entered into Eternal rest on Thursday January 8, 2015 at Norwalk Hospital. She was born on July 9, 1924 in Petionville Haiti. She emigrated to the United States in March 1972, lived in Brooklyn NY for couple of years then moved to Norwalk CT. She was followed by all her children and grandchildren and was responsible for bringing everyone here.

She leaves to cherish her memories her three sons Tigmann Pierre-Charles of Norwalk, Donald Pierre-Charles of Bridgeport, and Edner Pierre-Charles of Norwalk and three Daughters, Solange Yolande Desprinvil of Norwalk, Solange Loiseau of Brooklyn, NY, Sonia Desprinvil of New Haven 21 Grandchildren Yolene, Ruth, Tasha, Sabine, Ketly, Yanick, Roody, Standley, Randolph, Gethro, Ralph, Ronald, Vladimir, Jeffrey, David, Riccardel, Ryan, Adlers, Jason, Sanon, Malcolm, and 22 Great-Grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, Nephew Yves and Joachin Dossous. Nieces Marie-Michelle Nicholas, Evelyne Dufrene, Estella Rene, Marie-Louisimene Napoleon Daughter in-law Jeannie Pierre-Charles, Carmelie Pierre-Charles, Chantal Edward, Son in-law Saul Gedeon, Adopted Son Henry Cadet. She is also predeceased by her Daughters Gladys Denaro, Yolette Pierre-Charles, Sisters Regina Desprinvil, Elmise Desprinvil, Sylvia Desprinvil, Germaine Jean-Paul, Louise Dossous, Vierge Rene, Vilbrin Desprinvil, and Brice Desprinvil, and nephew Jean-Claude Rene, also predeceased by Son in-law Ferrer Loiseau and Pierre Meant.

Dieudonne touched the lives of many people with her smile and generosity. Those who knew her will remember her special dance that she does when she hears music. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Aurora Senior Living of Norwalk for the care and compassion given to Dieudonne.

    Was a beautiful and graceful lady and a joy to behold. She was so committed to her faith and could be seen walking to her Sunday morning mass on beautiful days, and not so beautiful days and I think that when she is in heaven, she will be walking all over the place.
