			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Clara Charlotte (Schnable) Langer of East Norwalk, passed away at home on Sunday, May 20, 2012. Preferred to be called “Claire”, she was born in New York City, NY on January 27, 1918.  She was recently predeceased by her husband, Melvin Langer.   Claire was also predeceased by her parents, Benjamin Schnable and Celia (Schnable) Schnable, and her siblings Julius Schnable and Muriel (Schnable) Falk.   Claire is survived by her children and their spouses, Herbert and Fay Langer of VA, Robert and Shelley Langer, Sharon Langer and Matthew Horowitz of CT, grandchildren Shelly and Richard Hudson of NM, Jessica Langer, Daniel and Sandra Langer of VA, Joshua and Jessica Langer of VT, Jennifer and Eduardo Tigre, Abigail Horowitz, and Benjamin Horowitz of CT; great grandchildren, Gavin Wright, Zachary and Jackson Hudson, Cheyanne, Orion, Jasper, and Noah Langer.   Claire also leaves many dear nieces, nephews and cousins.  The family expresses their deep appreciation to devoted caregivers Clova Grant, Lee Sheridan and Coralyn Ford, and the dedicated staff of Elderhouse, Geriatric Care Management and the Connecticut Hospice.</p>
<p>Claire will be remembered for the love she bestowed on her family, the sheer joy she exhibited whenever her grandchildren and great grandchildren visited her, her uncanny ability to repeatedly bounce back from numerous health challenges, and her salty tongue.</p>
<p>Services will be held on Tuesday, May 22, at 11:00 AM in the Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue, Norwalk, CT.  Burial will follow in Independent Hebrew Society Cemetery, 143 Richards Avenue, Norwalk. Shiva will be observed at the home of Sharon Langer and Matthew Horowitz on Wednesday, May 23, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Robert J. Cyr, &#8220;RJ&#8221;, 37, died May 14, 2012 at his residence in Waltham, Maine. He was born in Stamford, CT, on May 20, 1974 the son of Robert P. Cyr and Ann-Marie Britton.</p>
<p>RJ graduated from Bethel High School in 1993. He enjoyed gardening, hiking, fishing, and rescuing animals. He was very creative and liked doing carpentry. He was the Animal Control Officer in Waltham.</p>
<p>He is survived by his wife of 4 years, Lauren (Sullivan) Cyr; father, Robert P. Cyr and wife Sharon Hazzard Cyr; sister, Jennifer Barboza of Bethel, CT; half-sister, Kristy Britton of Naugatuck, CT; step-brother, Matthew Hazzard of Norwalk, CT; father-in-law, John Sullivan of Norwalk, CT; brothers-in-law, John Sullivan and wife Katherine of Naples, FL, and Chris Sullivan of Norwalk, CT; nephews, Gabriel Barboza of Bethel, CT, Matthew Hazzard, Jr. of Norwalk, CT; nieces, Isabella Barboza of Bethel, CT, and Aaliyah Hazzard of Norwalk, CT. RJ will be greatly missed by his friends and family as well as his adored dogs, Sway, Frosty, Zeke, and Avery. He was predeceased by his beloved dog, Princess.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Joseph J. Carelli (Pascarelli), 47, of Bridgeport, CT passed away with his loving family at his side on May 10, 2012 at St. Vincent’s Medical Center after a short, hard-fought battle with cancer. Born on February 7, 1965, in Norwalk, CT he was the son of Joseph J. Pascarelli and Jeannette Ruggiero Pascarelli.  Joe attended Norwalk High School, Syracuse University, and Norwalk Community Technical College.</p>
<p>Joe was a self-employed master craftsmen throughout Fairfield County.  He was a member of the Fairfield National Little League Board of Directors from 2001-2009, in addition to managing and coaching for that league.  He also managed and coached teams with the Fairfield Babe Ruth and Wakeman Boys Lacrosse.  He was an ardent supporter of the Fairfield Owls Travel Baseball Team.</p>
<p>Joe’s greatest role in life was as a father to his two boys, Taylor and Brian, and the time he spent coaching them and their many friends. They spent countless hours enjoying their common passions like golfing, the New York Yankees, the New York Giants, and things they loved to do most. The memories they have made together are truly priceless.</p>
<p>In addition to his parents and his beloved sons Taylor and Brian, Joe is survived by his former wife Karen Levine Carelli, of Fairfield, CT, grandfather Vito Ruggiero (“Johnny Rogers”), and his wife Ann, his brother John A. Pascarelli and his wife Lesley, all of Norwalk, CT, his sister Jill Ruggiero (Pascarelli), of Fairfield, CT, and his precious nieces Ashley and Megan Pascarelli, whom he adored, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins, and not to be forgotten, his dog Shamus.</p>
<p>Friends may call Monday, May 14, 2012 from 4:00 to 8:00PM at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue, Norwalk, CT.  A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at 10:00AM in St. Philip Church, 1 Father Conlon Place, Norwalk, CT.  Interment will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, 223 Richards Avenue, Norwalk, Ct.</p>

<p>Life long resident of Norwalk, passed away peacefully at home on May 5<sup>th</sup>, 2012. He is  survived by his wife of 45, years Janet A.Ferro of  formerly Stamford, and a daughter Carleen Ryducha Pampena,  and her husband Vincent Pampena. He was the son of the late Alphonse &amp; Helen Urbanawiz of Bialystock, Poland, &amp; brother Alphonse Ryducha. Izzy was born in on August 17<sup>th</sup> , 1935. He attended Norwalk Schools,  was a former member of the Norwalk Exchange Club, &amp;  Master Builder’s Association,</p>
<p>He considered himself as having a simple life living in a town for  which he had much pride .  His enjoyment came with boating, friendships, and family, fine dining.  “He had a gentle soul, who  inspired many with his talent and harmed no one, said a  friend”.   In a short story written  by Robert Ludlum, the novelist said” to wish one of the nicest men on the face of the earth the happiest birthday’s .  He is a living proof that nice guys do finish first.”  His  closest friends knew him as an intelligent, creative,  affable and strong as an ox, with a wonderful perspective on life.  Family and friends with be received at the home of his daughter &amp; son-in law Carleen &amp; Vincent, 8 Glen Pines Lane, Norwalk, on Wednesday, May 9<sup>th</sup> from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Catherine Horlick, 82 of Stratford, previously of Cove Avenue, Norwalk, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2012 after a lengthy illness. She was wife of the late John Horlick and daughter of the late Rosario and Nicoletta (Antonetta) Rametta.</p>
<p>Born April 4, 1930 in Scranton, PA, she came to Norwalk as a young girl. She attended Norwalk Schools and her first job was with the 5 &amp; 10 on Wall Street. She then moved to the production office of Diane Knit Fabrics in South Norwalk where she worked for 30 years. After the close of Diane Knit Fabrics, she worked for Hocon Gas until she retired in 1993. In 2005 she moved to Stratford to live with her daughter Mary and son-in-law Lew Tucci.</p>
<p>Mrs. Horlick is also survived by her two granddaughters Nicole Tucci and her fiancé Ed Miller of Stratford, and Alyssa Tucci and her fiancé Matt Riccardelli of Norwalk; by her great-grandson Robert John Kopasz (who was her greatest joy); and by her nephew Joseph Zannella of Monroe and two nieces, Christine Arway of Stamford and Dianne Henry of Ridgefield.</p>
<p>In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her brothers Joseph Zannella, Sr. and Frederick Zannella.</p>
<p>Friends may call on Saturday from 8:30 to 9:30 AM at the Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue, Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00 AM in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 203 East Avenue, Norwalk. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, 81 Riverside Avenue, Norwalk.</p>
<p>The family would like to thank the staff of SolAmor Hospice for their care and compassion. Also, special thanks to Carrie, Kanda, Aneita, Raquel and Nora of St. Joseph’s Manor for their devoted care and attention. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Kimberly Ann McCue, 48 of Norwalk, passed away Friday, April 20, 2012 at the Norwalk Hospital. Born March 15, 1964 in New York, NY, she was daughter of Mary Montesano McCue and the late David McCue.</p>
<p>Kimberly graduated Sacred Heart University and worked as a Real Estate Paralegal.  She was also very active in the <cite>Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation</cite> and in the National Diabetes Association.  She will be remembered as the beloved aunt of her 5 nieces and nephews of whom she was very fond.</p>
<p>In addition to her mother Mary, Kimberly is survived by her sister Jennifer McCue, brother David McCue and his wife Suzanne and brother Joseph McCue.  She is also survived by her nieces and nephews: Elizabeth Hartmann, Lance Corporal Christopher Hartmann USMC, Mary Abigail McCue, David W. McCue and Angelina E. McCue.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Joseph Thomas Robidoux, Jr., age 81, husband of the late Joan Guiles Robidoux, of Norwalk passed away on Friday, April 20, 2012 at Norwalk Hospital.</p>
<p>Born October 4, 1930, in Norwalk, CT, he was the son of Joseph and Elizabeth Veno Robidoux.</p>
<p>Joe graduated from Norwalk High School, Danbury State Teachers College, and University of Bridgeport. He was employed as a teacher and a guidance counselor in the Westport Public School system for over 40 years. Joe served in the US Army during the Korean War. During his working years Joe and his late wife volunteered extensively and Joe continued to do so after his retirement in 1995.</p>
<p>He is survived by his sons Thomas and his wife Joellen of New Canaan, Gregory and his wife Christine of Temple, NH, and his daughters, Karen Thifault of Norwalk and Wendy and her husband Manny Karamanis of Norwalk; 7 grandsons; Nick Mastropietro of Santa Monica, CA; Kyle and Kevin Thifault of Norwalk; Joseph and Jonathan Robidoux of New Canaan; William and Michael Robidoux of Temple, NH; one granddaughter Alison and her husband Jay Mahoney of Manhattan. He is also survived by his beloved sister Rita Robidoux of Norwalk.</p>
<p>Friends may call on Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue, Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 AM in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 203 East Avenue.  Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery, Richards Avenue, Norwalk.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Jean T. Ceraso of Wilton died Friday, April 20, 2012 in Wilton Meadows.  She was 84. Born June 6, 1928 in New York City, she was the daughter of Louis and Marie Borghi.</p>
<p>Mrs. Ceraso graduated from Queens College with a degree in Economics.  She married her husband, Frank, in 1950 and together they raised a family. Upon graduation, Jean worked in advertising. Later, she earned a teaching certificate and taught for many years in the Catholic school systems in both New York and Illinois.</p>
<p>Mrs. Ceraso was a devoted wife to her husband of 62 years, Frank, and a loving mother to her two daughters, Cynthia and Lorna. Jean travelled extensively with her family visiting all 50 states and 62 countries.</p>
<p>She is survived by her daughters, Cynthia Marcus and her husband, Michael, and Lorna Huber and her husband, Peter, and her four grandchildren, Christopher and Claudia Huber, Craig Marcus and Stephanie Siegel and her husband, Joshua.</p>
<p>The family wishes to thank Norwalk Hospital for all the kindness and care they showed Jean during her recent heart attack.</p>
<p>Friends may call on Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue, Norwalk.</p>
<p>A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 229 Danbury Road, Wilton.</p>
