Filomena "Fannie" Restuccia


August 22, 1919 - October 27, 2012

 

 

Filomena [Fannie] Restuccia died October 27th, in Franklin, New Hampshire.

She was the daughter of Marie Turri Basile and Rocco Basile. Born in Norwalk on August 22, 1919, Fannie was predeceased in 2000 by her husband of 60 years, Philip Restuccia. She is survived by her children, Juanita Boardman, of Sanbornton, New Hampshire and Paul Restuccia, of Wilton, CT, 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Fannie was the youngest of 5 sisters, two of whom, Mary Piro and Frances Salvato of Norwalk, predeceased her. She is survived by Liz Belardinelli of West Palm Beach, Florida and Helen Cioffi of Newtown, CT.

Fannie was co-founder and for many years floor manager of PAK, Inc. She was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary of the South Norwalk Boat Club. She enjoyed boating and fishing with her husband Phil and won many contests and awards over the years. She and Phil traveled extensively in their 27 years of retirement. She especially enjoyed their winters in Singer Island, Florida.
