Services: A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00 AM in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 203 East Avenue, Norwalk.  Burial followed in St. John Cemetery, Richards Avenue Norwalk. Florence LoPresti Cutuli


May 11, 1924 - September 28, 2013

Florence LoPresti Cutuli, 89, wife of the late Joseph Cutuli of East Norwalk, passed away Saturday, September 28, 2013 at the Norwalk Hospital. Born May 11, 1924 in Manhattan, NY, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Maria Pettignano LoPresti.

Mrs. Cutuli attended PS 104 in New York City, Center Elementary, Center Junior High School, Norwalk High and Short’s Secretarial School in Stamford.  She worked as an Executive Secretary at Yankee Metal, Machlett Laboratories and ultimately CE Hooper Company which measured radio and television ratings (the predecessor to the Neilson Ratings system).

Mrs. Cutuli is survived by her children; daughter Deborah Cutuli-Block and her husband Joel of Easton, CT, twin sons Richard Cutuli and his wife Judith of Guilford, CT and Jeff Cutuli and his wife Donna of San Jose, CA, and daughter Denise Vannoy of Tolland, CT; and by her eight grandchildren, Jennifer, Lauren, Brendan, Alexandra, Andre and Aric Cutuli and twins Walter and Joseph Vannoy. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Anna LoPresti and niece Mary LoPresti of Oxford, CT.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Cutuli was predeceased by her brother Frank LoPresti and her sister Angela LoPresti.
