Visitation:

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 29, from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at St. George Greek Orthodox Church on West Rocks Road in Norwalk, CT.

Services:

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 30 at 11 AM at St. George. Interment will follow at St. John’s cemetery. 
 
Donations:

In lieu of flowers, all donations can be made to St. George Greek Orthodox Church.

George Erotopoulos


July 11, 1931 - January 27, 2019

George Erotopoulos passed away peacefully on January 27th, in Norwalk, CT at the age of 87.

George was born in Crimea, Russia to Dimitrios and Despina on July 11th, 1931. As a child, he moved to Ptolemaida, Greece, and then emigrated to the United States in 1965 with his wife Olga, and two children, Zoe and Jimmy. He worked as a carpenter, originally for Steinway pianos, before opening up his own shop. George was a gifted musician, playing the lyra and harmonica.

George is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters Elpida and Kiriaki. George is survived by his wife Olga, his children Zoe and her husband Stavro, Jimmy and his wife Missy, and five grandchildren, Despina, Olga, Stathi, Olga, Kali, a sister Sonia, nieces and nephews, and dog, Peanut.

George was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and uncle, and will be lovingly remembered.
