May 13, 1940 - February 13, 2013

Ingrid M. Levin, 72, wife of the late Eugene S. Levin of Westport, passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at the Norwalk Hospital. Born May 13, 1940 in Germany, she was the daughter of the late Alfons and Anita Kanz.

Born in Germany, Ingrid immigrated with her family to America in the early 1950’s.  She grew up in Port Jefferson, NY.  After marrying Eugene, they moved to Westport where she resided for the past 40 years. Ingrid inspired many through her perseverance through many hardships in life. She will be missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her step-daughters Deborah Schulenburg and her husband Richard of Illinois and Jennifer Eichhorn and her husband Bryan of Maryland and by her step-son Douglas Levin of Maryland. She is also survived by her six grandchildren, Aaron, Dana, Andy, Leslie, William and Andrew and by her two great grandchildren Mason and Molly—who dearly loved their great-oma Ingrid.
