Burial: Interment will follow the services at Flushing Cemetery 16306 E.  46th Ave. Flushing, NY at 11am on Saturday, December 10, 2011. Loving Mother & Beloved Grandmother

Jacqueline H. Heaslip, mother of two sons, beloved by all her family and friends, passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 3, 2011 in Temple City, California. She was 85 years old, resident of New York, NY, Lincolnton, NC and Temple City, CA. Jacqueline was born on March 4, 1926 in Queens, NY, daughter of the late Elsie and Jacques Persoons.

She met and married her husband at the Union Evangelical Church in Corona, and raised her family in Crestwood, NY. The couple was married for fifty-five years before Robert passed away in 2005. She is survived by her two sons, Scott and Bruce. Scott resides in Temple City, CA with his wife, Rosemary, and son, Tim. Bruce is a resident of Norwalk, CT with his wife, Patricia, and two sons, Kyle and Stephen.

Jacqueline worked for Stoffel Seals Corporation in Tuckahoe, NY for many years as an Administrative Secretary to the Vice President. Both she and her husband Robert retired in Lincolnton, NC, in 1985 after Robert built a second home for them. She was an avid member of the Eastern Star, previous President of the PTA, and enjoyed baking, gardening and staying in contact with dear friends. In her retirement years, she proudly volunteered as the Secretary for the Emanuel United Church of Christ for over twenty years in Lincolnton, NC. Jacqueline will be sadly missed by her family, friends and by all of those whom have had the pleasure of ever knowing her.
