  • Jim, I knew of you only from the wonderful things my daughter Nicole said of you when she worked for you. I told her she was so lucky to have such a great person for a boss as not many people are so fortunate. She got to know your wife and family and echoed the same sentiments about how wonderful they are. Then I had the opportunity to meet you. You were an amazing human being – humble, caring, and had great business acumen. All you wanted in the end was to enjoy your retirement after years of hard work, and you never got the chance to – you were taken too soon. I will truly miss you. My heartfelt condolence to your family and I know the wonderful memories of you will keep them strong.

  • Deepest sympathy on the passing of a wonderful colleague. Although Jim and I worked together for a relatively short time at Dr Pepper Snapple, he taught me much about leadership and humanity. He has left behind a legacy of many who have benefited from his insights. Ivan Thompson.

  • I just learned of Jim’s passing. I got to know Jim during the 90’s during my time with Cadbury Schweppes in Connecticut. Jim was the kind of leader that inspired you to reach beyond your own capabilities. He made you feel like an integral part of his team. He was very good at identifying the unique talents of each member of his team and bringing that all together into one cohesive unit. During this time, I had the pleasure of getting to know the man and the kind of person he really was deep inside. He was a good man. My heart goes out to his family. He too was a Christian man, so I will see him again someday.
