James Franklin Taylor


May 19th, 1935 - May 1st, 2018

James Franklin Taylor, 82, of Wilton, Conn. passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 1st, 2018 at Norwalk Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Born on May 19th 1935 in Stamford, Conn., he was the son of the late David James Taylor and Irene (Merrifield) Robertine.

Mr. Taylor served in the US Navy at the tail end of the Korean War in 1956.  Upon his return from service he worked for Perkin Elmer and then went on to school to become a beautician/salon owner.

He is survived by his sister, Jean (Taylor) Docimo of Stamford, his four children: Montgomery Taylor and Heather (Taylor) Hickey, son and daughter of Jeri Taylor as well as Erik Taylor and Lindsey (Taylor) Bonavita, son and daughter of Patricia Taylor.  He is also survived by his five grandchildren: Shaylin Greco, McKinley Hickey, Myles Hickey, Jaden Taylor, and Evelyn Taylor.

In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his sister, Audrey Geer and his brother, Robert Taylor.
