James Koletsos


July 16, 1932 ~ February 26, 2012

Mr. James Koletsos, 79, husband of the late Foula Melitzanos Koletsos of Norwalk, passed away Sunday, February 26, 2012 at the Norwalk Hospital.

Born July 16, 1932, in Greece, he was the son of the late Efthimios and Vasiliki Koletsos.

Mr. Koletsos immigrated to the United State in 1951. He was a pioneer in shoe manufacturing and design, which led him to work in the Orient for most of his career. After returning, he enjoyed gardening and driving through the mountains of northern Greece.

He is survived by his daughter, Viki Koletsos, and his two brothers, Vasilios and Dino Koletsos.

In addition to his wife, Foula, James is predeceased by his brother, Evripidis Koletsos, and his sister, Sophia Vitolianos.
