John Jakob Soyland (Johnny), 27, of Norwalk, husband of Diana and father of Ayden passed away suddenly on the night of October 3rd, 2014.

John was a lifelong resident of Norwalk. Born on August 22nd, 1987 he was the son of John L. and Leslie A. Soyland. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, nephew, cousin, grandson and friend. He was a Patriots fan who loved to hike, fish, and play football with his son. He worked at Sound Sailing Center in Norwalk.

He is survived by his wife Diana, son Ayden, parents John and Leslie, brothers Andy and Erik of Norwalk, mother and father-in-law Irma and Miguel Mora of Norwalk, sister-in-law Leslie Rosas of Norwalk, the Hernández family of Chicago, grandmother Ellen Soyland of Sandy Hook, grandfather Chester Knowles and Aunt Amy of Cushing, Maine, Uncle Tore and wife Ellen of Norway, Aunt Marie and husband Mickey of Clearwater Fl, Uncle Kenneth and wife Susan of Brookfield, Aunt June and husband George of Monroe, Uncle Steven and wife Patricia of Southport, Uncle Bryan and wife Karen of Missouri, cousins Scott, Sarah, John, Michael, Jennifer, Angelina, Sophia, Tanja, Alex, Rachel, Nicole, Kristopher, Matthew and Taylor.

He is predeceased by his grandfather Jakob Soyland of Sandy Hook, grandmother Barbara Knowles of Cushing, Maine, Aunt Susan Halihan of California and cousin William Knowles of Jefferson City, Missouri.
