  1. What a wonderful, sweet, gentle man, was John Christiano! We (the Gugliotti family) knew him affectionately as Twiggy! Our Dad, Anthony (“Turk”; “Tony”) Gugliotti counted Twiggy as among his very best of friends. After the Christianos moved out of the old Waterbury neighborhood to the country setting of Montoe Road, Dad would frequently bring us up to Twiggy and Mary’s house on a Sunday morning – for us, a visit to the country! Our Dad thought the world of Twiggy, and as kids, we did too! Our condolences to all his family. For our part, we are so grateful to have had Twiggy as part of our lives growing up.
