John L. Esposito


November 10, 1949 - June 15, 2015

John L. Esposito, 65, husband of Kim Esposito of Norwalk, CT, passed away Monday, June 15, 2015 at the VA Hospital of West Haven.

Born November 10th, 1949 in Bridgeport, CT he was the son of the late Peter and Alphia Esposito. John grew up in Bridgeport but lived most of his life in Norwalk. He served in the U.S. Army in the Vietnam War in 1968-1970.  A member of the South Norwalk Boat Club since 2000, he was a well-respected and very skilled mechanic and built his life long business around marine mechanics.

Survivors include his wife Kim Esposito, daughter Tiffany and her husband Miguel, granddaughter Angelina; and son Michael Esposito and another daughter Christina Esposito.  John is also survived by his sisters Laura Towle and Rosemary Donahue.

    Just read of John’s passing in The Hour online. So very sorry, my deepest condolences. Not sure if you will remember me, I was a waitress at SNBC and currently live in Forida. I have fond memories of John. A really special kind of guy. May his memory live on in your hearts and minds forever.
