September 24, 1951 - June 2, 2012

Joseph D. Centore, 60, of Norwalk, husband of Jane Centore, passed away Friday, June 2, 2012 in Poughkeepsie, NY.  Born September 24, 1951 in Bronx, NY, he was the son of Domenic and Rose Aprile Centore of Yonkers, NY.

Mr. Centore was a 34 year resident of Norwalk and worked as an accountant for Texico and McCann Erickson. He was also a member of the St. Anne’s Club, the Knights of Columbus, and recently of the Norwalk Senior Center.

In addition to his wife of 36 years, Jane, he is survived by his sister Linda Cutinella and her husband Rich of Blooming Grove, PA; by two nephews Marc Cutinella and Jason Cutinella; and by his great nieces and nephews Tyler, Alexis and Caden Cutinella.

  1. We are so sorry to hear about Joe’s passing. We were in the Whittingham Cancer Center Support Group with Joe for several years. Joe’s weekly contributions to the group were always helpful to members of this group. He will be missed.
