  • Carrie, Gary, Matthew, Mary, John, Olive, Kathy and Steve – there are no words that can possibly express the way I felt upon hearing of Joe’s passing. I am so sorry that the news did not reach me in time to join you at the wake or graveside service. Joe was a big part of my life for nearly 8 years, and my relationship with him helped me to grow in so many ways. Sadly, we parted a year ago, but he (and all of you) was never far from my thoughts. Matthew, I know that your grandfather loved you very much and he thought you were an extremely intelligent young man. My deepest condolences to all of you. Please feel free to call me or e-mail me if there is anything I can do. I love you all very much.
