June 28, 1918 - February 23, 2015

Joseph Frank Oleksy, 96, of Wilton, husband of the late Elizabeth Hruncak Oleksy, died Monday, February 23, 2015 at Wilton Meadows Rehabilitation Center.

Born June 28, 1918 in Swoyersville, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph and Victoria Antos Oleksy.

Mr. Oleksy served in the Army during World War II. He later worked for G.E. for 39 years. He loved gardening and woodworking around his home as well as listening to his favorite teams on the radio.

He is survived by his daughter Elizabeth Bianco and her husband Hank of Wilton; by his granddaughter Victoria Bianco of Charlotte, NC and grandson Joseph Bianco of Wilton; by his sister Alice Yurchision of Wilkes-Barre, PA and by several nieces and nephews.
