  • To the family of Bob Pekar: We wanted to reach out to express our sympathy and to fondly remember Bob and his sister Sandra and parents Helen & Joe. Our family enjoyed many happy times with the Pekars after our Dad, Nick Drabb became friends with Joe many years ago, and our Mom, Mary shared many a laugh with Helen. We were blessed to know such a wonderful, loving family and saddened to learn of Bob’s passing. Rest in peace.

  • It’s not “a beautiful, sun-shiny day in May” for us who he leaves behind, but we can be sure that he and Betty-Lou are dancing, laughing, and looking down on their magnificent legacy — amazing daughters, sons-in-law, and grandkids — with pure joy in their hearts. Few men and women achieve what Uncle Bob and Aunt Betty-Lou did. Their love was contagious, and they touched the hearts of all of us in profound ways.
