Julius Pall, Jr.


August 5, 1934 - February 24, 2011

Julius Pall, Jr., 76, of Bridgeport, formerly of Norwalk, passed away February 24th at home. He was the husband of the late Olga Akos Pall.

Mr. Pall was born in the former Czechoslovakia on August 5, 1934, son of the late Julius and Julia Mate Pall, Sr., he came to America, with his mother when he was fifteen years old.

A proud Hungarian-American, Julius joined the U. S. Armed Forces when he was old enough, and served during the Korean War. A long time resident of Norwalk, he met his future wife, Olga, here. Olga passed away on June 24th, 1989.

Mr. Pall worked at Superior Castings for thirty-six years. He later was associated with Architectural Glass, of New Canaan, and Temple Israel, in Westport.

Survivors include a daughter; Elizabeth Gamsky, one sister; Yolanda Szakacs, and two grandchildren; Olivia and Joshua Gamsky.

Mr. Pall is predeceased by another daughter; Karen, who passed away on May 16, 2005.
