Kerstin (Chris) Redin, 93, a Swedish immigrant and longtime resident of Stamford and Norwalk, passed away peacefully at Norwalk Hospital on Friday, September 16, 2016.

Chris loved her family and especially being mormor/farmor to her grandchildren. Chris bowled avidly, first large pins and later Wii Bowling where she earned her title “The Swedish Champ.” She rooted for the NY Mets and enjoyed stained glass making, ceramics, watercolors, Bingo and spending time by the ocean. While pint-sized in stature, Chris had an enormous heart. She loved and was loved by many.
Kerstin is survived by her children Rolf (Vera), Liz (Duncan) Payne, Linda Doyle, Roland (Debbie), Roger (Alison), her 11 grandchildren and her 13 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Lennart, daughter Marie Siladi, son Robert and granddaughter Tracey Payne.
