March 6, 1962 - April 9, 2020

Lenora M. Tripp, 58, a resident of Trumbull, CT passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2020 at St. Vincent’s Medical Center. Born in Hartford, CT on March 6, 1962. She was the youngest daughter of the late Roger Wong and Helen (Wu) Wong of Avon.

Before moving to Trumbull 17 years ago, Lenora was a longtime resident of Norwalk, CT. She attended The Master’s School in Simsbury and graduated from The Robinson School in West Hartford. She worked for Insurance Trends, Inc. for 19 years before retiring in 2003.

Lenora loved being outside, she enjoyed the beach and being in the sun, she loved gardening, listening to music and her annual trips to Cape Cod. Cape Cod was her favorite place to be, she hoped to one day move and live in a cottage at the beach. She was also a die-hard Eagles fan and was so excited when they won the Superbowl in 2018, but what she loved more than anything was her family. Her daughters and grandchildren were her whole world. She did everything she could for them, she loved and lived every day for them.

In addition to her mother, Helen( Wu) Wong left to cherish Lenora’s memory are her loving daughters, Jennifer Grenier (Chris) of Stratford, and Melissa Moran of Trumbull. Grandchildren, Abby Grenier of Breckenridge, CO, Dylan and Charlotte Moran of Trumbull. Her sister, Cindy Milardo ( Mark) of Colorado Springs, CO., and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and beloved friends. Lenora is predeceased by her father Roger Wong, Uncle- George Wu, Sr., Aunts- Esther Leong, Shirley Chang, and Jessie Lebrun.

  • Lenny will be missed sincerely . She had a heart of gold , always showed compassion to others and gratitude for life. She was resilient, demonstrated grit and always was able to stand on her own two feet. This is a woman with tremendous heart and soul- this is why she was so loved and admired by all. Thank you Lenny for teaching us how to embrace life and see the silver linings despite the challenges around Us. You were always the unsung hero who deserved so much more … may you Rest In Peace dear Lenny.
