Lisa Marie Nelson Fiore, 46, died Wednesday at home in Norwalk, CT of a brain aneurysm. She was a devoted wife and mother, a compassionate and caring member of her community and a highly accomplished dental hygienist. Lisa was born and raised in Sleepy Hollow NY, the third daughter of Ethelinda and Bill Nelson. She graduated from Pace University and the NYU School of Dentistry.  Lisa practiced dental hygiene at Prosthodontics and Implants Associates in Mamaroneck, NY.

Lisa is survived by her loving husband of 20 years Frank; 3 wonderful children Willard, Erika and Raleigh and her beloved Brittany, Dexter; mother, Ethelinda Powers Nelson; sisters, Maryanne Smith (Rick) and Eileen Farley; father-in-law Frank Fiore, sisters-in-law,  Maggie, Tricia Drpich (Anthony) and Susan; brother-in-law Larry and many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Lisa brought joy and love to those around her.  She was selfless in her constant concern for others.  She adored her husband Frank.  Blessed with Will, Erika and Raleigh, Lisa was a devoted mother who put her family at the forefront of all her actions.  She and Frank modeled love and integrity for their family and those bonds will endure.  She was the best sister, sister-in-law and daughter one could ever hope to have. Lisa exuded love, acceptance, understanding and a positive aura to all whom she met. She had a warm wonderful smile that could brighten anyone’s day and a laugh that was contagious.  The family raised and rescued dogs and Lisa became an advocate to promote their safety and well being through the American Brittany Rescue.  Lisa’s last act of love and kindness for others was being an organ donor for the New England Organ Bank.
