Maria-Michele "Missy" Picci


September 6, 1960 - November 28, 2013

Maria-Michele “Missy” Picci, 53, passed away on Thursday, November
28, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born on September 6, 1960 in Norwalk, Connecticut. She was the
daughter of Benjamin(Ben) & Virginia Conte Picci.

Missy graduated from Norwalk High School in 1978 & attended the
Barbizon School of Interior Design in NYC.  She was employed by
various Norwalk businesses, most recently The Hatch & Bailey Co. and
Stew Leonard’s.

Missy will be remembered for her willingness to help others, and her
ability to talk with total strangers making their day a little
brighter. She adored her two cats, traveling to the Caribbean and was
an avid New York Giants and New York Yankees fan.

Missy is survived by her parents, brothers Gary (and wife, Kathleen) &
Mark(and wife, Alison), all of Norwalk.  Beth Esposito of Sherman,
Garrett Picci of Monroe,  Jennifer Prokop of Groveland, MA., & Travis &
Justis Picci of Norwalk are her nieces and nephews.  Luca,
Ella, Jaxon, Andrew, Cara and Eleanor will greatly miss their adoring
great aunt.  She is also survived by her former husband and best
friend, Kevin Gibson, of Norwalk.

    I just heard about the passing of Missy. I just want to tell you all that I am very sorry. I worked with Missy years ago at Command Performance. Always thought of her , I moved to Florida and lost contact . I loved Missy She was so True Honest and just a Beautiful Person as you know already! May God give you the strength that you need. Missy is a beautiful Angel in Heaven now watching over all of you . She will be in my prayers as well as all of you.

  • Family and friends of Missy, I just found out about your loss. I worked with her for many years at Command Performance .She was a joy to be around always smiling and warm personality . I live in florida now and unfortunately lost contact with her. My sister sent me the news and I was shocked .She was one of a kind and always special in my heart and memories .There are a few people in life that really touch you and she was one of them .Even after all these years my heart weeps for the loss of beautiful, sweet Missy . I am very sorry for all of you…I remember her speaking of Kevin all the time I’m glad you were there for her. I am sure she is an angel and shining star forever.
