Marion W. Marston, age 98, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, May 20. Marion was born on April 16, 1920, and was the daughter of the late Agnes Marie and Robert Walberg of New Preston, CT. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Raymond Marston, Jr., with whom she lived in Norwalk for over 60 years. They were long time members of the St. Jerome parish in Norwalk. Marion was also pre-deceased by her beloved younger sister, Madelyn Lincoln.

Marion is survived by her son, Robert and his wife, Nancy, of Newtown. She has also left behind nieces, nephews and cousins with whom she was very close.

While living in Norwalk, Marion worked part time at Gregory’s Store and was a wonderful mother and homemaker. She enjoyed cooking and gardening. Marion was an avid musician and continued to play her saxophone into her 90’s. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 24, at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue, Norwalk from 9:30-10:30 a.m. This will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Jerome’s Church, 23 Half Mile Road in Norwalk at 11:00 a.m. Burial will immediately follow the church service at Riverside Cemetery at 81 Riverside Avenue in Norwalk.
