Mildred B. O’Hara, 96, wife of the late Vincent J. O’Hara of Norwalk, passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2013 at Framingham Hospital.

Born July 13, 1917 in Bridgeport, CT, she was the daughter of the late John E. and Mary McDonald Brady.

Mildred is survived by her three children; Ann Marie O’Hara of Millis, MA, Eileen Scotti of Scituate, MA, and James V. O’Hara and his wife Robin of  Fairfield Glades, TN; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; two sisters Shirley Selberg of California and Grace Argenio of Georgia; several nieces and nephews and by her cherished puppy “Beau”…..

In addition to her parents and her husband, Mildred was predeceased by her brother, John Brady, and her son-in-law, Lou Scotti.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 16, at 11:00 AM in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 203 East Avenue, Norwalk, CT. Internment will follow in St. John Cemetery, 223 Richards Avenue, Norwalk, CT. Friends may call on Saturday, prior to the mass, from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue, Norwalk CT.

  1. When I read Millies obituary the memory of my mothers (CLUB GIRLS) came to mind, Marion, Adeline, Amiee’, Helen, and my Mom, Vern Morgan, they were all quite a bunch. I send sincere condolences for your loss. May they all be reunited in heaven having a great old gab fest.
