A Mass of Christian Burial for Pat will be held on Monday, September 9, 2013 at 10:00am , at St. Jerome Church in Norwalk, CT.

Burial:

The burial will follow at St. John Cemetery in Norwalk.

Donations:

Donations in memory of Pat can be made to St. Jerome Church, 23 Half Mile Road, Norwalk, CT 06851 or the Whittingham Cancer Center at Norwalk Hospital.

Pasquale "Pat" DiMeglio


April 24, 1942 - September 5, 2013

Pasquale “Pat” DiMeglio passed away on Friday, September 5th at Norwalk Hospital after a lengthy illness. Pat was born in New York City in 1942 and moved to Norwalk in 1956. He was the son of Aniello “Pop” and Maria DiMeglio As a child in New York City, Pat grew up working in the family business, DiMeglio’s Market, and this encouraged him to go into
retail sales.

Pat loved being around people. He was a manager at Food Fair and later on in life, Linen’s & Things, until it closed. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. In addition to his gentle personality, Pat was a compassionate and caring man. Pasquale is survived by his loving wife, Orsola and son, Mario, several nieces, nephews, and close family members. He was predeceased by a brother, Michael DiMeglio.

While enjoying his well deserved retirement, Pasquale spent most of his time with his family, especially his grandchildren, Julianna and Luke.

  • Dear Uncle Pat, sorry for your loss it’s been more than 2 years. I remember you, inviting me, My parents and my brother Michael over to your house and Michael and I together used to have fun at your house when we were 2 young kids, a long time ago. We used to have 4th of July party Outside of there, and that was amazingly fun. You were a good uncle to me and my brother and Now We love you and miss you forever. Rest in peace. Xx
