  • To Susan and Family, Just read about the loss of your Mom, I remember her from the Girl Scout troop from Silvermine school. We went camping and a big storm came and she took us all back to the house in Silvermine to stay the night. We lived in the farmhouse next to the school and could have easily just gone home but it was more fun going to your house….She was a great person and you were so lucky to have her.. i hope all of the many memories you have will help you through this difficult time. My deepest Sympathy Robin Nemeth DelBene

  • Sorry to say that I did not know Pat, however, my mother, Patricia (Pat), died just over a year ago, but prior to her passing, she raised three daughters on Gregory court and purchased a condo in Dorlon Terrace as an investment. Over the years, I am sure I have seen your Pat here and there at the condo complex, et. al. We are in the midst of selling Patricia’s condo, though I would much rather purchase it out right from my siblings as I can not think of any better way to spend retiring years than to live at Dorlon’s with such beautiful caring neighbors and a nice salty breeze as well.
I am so sorry for your loss, and hope my words help you to know that Pat was living in a blessed place and surrounded by caring neighbors. I know others’ words do not help necessarily when one is grieving a great loss. Later the words might be more comforting. For me, it helped to grieve my mother little by little, one minute today, two tomorrow, denial the next, until I had completed (for now) my process. And I had to be okay with my style of grief when my sisters or relatives wanted me to be “over it already”. Everyone has their own way and as such, needs to go through that process in spite of anyone or everyone else’s schedule. God Bless Pat and you all in this phase of life. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
