Patsy "Dixie" Cutrone


September 14, 1923 - November 20, 2014

Patsy (“Dixie”) Cutrone, 91, of Norwalk, CT and Merritt Island, FL passed away Thursday November 20, 2014. Born in Norwalk September 14, 1923, he was the son of the late Pasquale and Theresa Marotto Cutrone. He was the husband of Pamela Frost Cutrone.

Patsy served in the Army Air Corps during WWII and later ran Patsy Cutrone & Sons, Inc. construction company in Norwalk. His passions included building and flying model-airplanes with the Country Squire Modelers along with his enjoyment of boating and Long Island Sound. He was a life member of both the South Norwalk Boat Club and the St. Ann Club in Norwalk.

In addition to his wife Pamela, he is survived by his two daughters, Leann Kish and her husband Joseph and Susan Stratton and her husband Michael. He is also survived by his grandson Joseph Kish Jr., his sister Florence Agliotta, sisters-in-law Justine Cutrone and Francis Cutrone as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his first wife Jane Cutrone and by his brothers Joseph and John and sisters Margarite and Sarah.

  • We are sorry to hear. We have still vivid in our mind his visit in Italy in 2005, when he asked to visit all his relatives in Jelsi and was particularly happy to meet two Pasquale: my son and his cousin.
