October 18, 1943 - July 29, 2018

Panaila (Paula) A. Kydes, 74, wife of Andy E. Kydes, passed away Sunday, July 29, 2018 at her home in Norwalk, surrounded by her family.

Born October 18, 1943 in Sohoum, Russia, she was the daughter of the late Lazaro and Zinovia Lazarides.

Paula moved to the U.S. in 1964 and worked at Pepperidge Farm for 27 years. Her greatest joy was cooking for her family at holidays and get-togethers and spending time with her grand kids.

She was predeceased by her daughter Kyriaki Kydes. In addition to her husband Andy, she is survived by her sons, Eleftherios Kydes and his wife Agapi of Norwalk and John Kydes and his wife Beth of Stratford; daughter Sophia Morrell and her husband Stephen of Norwalk; brothers Christos Lazarides and his wife Eleni of Athens, Greece and Lazaros Lazarides and his wife Ekaterini of Norwalk; her sisters Sophia Aravides and her husband Kosta of Queens, NY and Maria Perisanides and her husband Haralambos of Norwalk. She is also survived by six grandchildren: Kiki, Andrew, Nico, Anastasia, Paulina and Andonis; great-granddaughter Stella, and many nieces and nephews.
