Phyllis Fabrizio Czegledi
Phyllis Fabrizio Czegledi, 98, of Norwalk, CT passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at the Norwalk Hospital. She was the wife of the late Frank Czegledi.
Born on December 25, 1914 in Norwalk, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Catherine Cacchio Fabrizio. Mrs. Czegledi at the age of 75 took up painting, she was Frank’s golf partner and owner of the dry-cleaning business with Frank.
Phyllis is survived by a son, Michael J. Czegledi and his wife Sharon of Norwalk, CT; daughter Judith Ann DePaula and her husband Dan of Watervliet, NY; six grandchildren, Brett Battista of Scarborough, ME, Mark Battista and his wife Debbie of Albany, NY, Michael J. Czegledi, Jr. and his wife Laura Carlson of Wilton, CT, Hope Blair and her husband John of Norwalk, CT, Jodie Adolfpon and her husband Brett of Newtown, CT and Maryellen Czegledi of Norwalk, CT, eight great grandchildren, Breanna Battista, Michael Battista, Jacob Battista, Liam Czegledi, Caitlin Czegledi, Dillon Czegledi, Sydney Adolfpon and Piper Adolfpon, a brother Lenny Ferrara and his wife Betty of Palm City, FL, a sister Helen Roach of Norwalk, CT. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a daughter Linda Joyce Czegledi and a son Francis Ronald Czegledi.
Friends may meet at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 1, for a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Jerome Church, 23 Half Mile Road, Norwalk, CT. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, 81 Riverside Avenue, Norwalk.
